StudentI cannot reach UZEM. What should I do?
You can send feedback about any problem you have with the systems through uzem.omu.edu.tr.
StudentI cannot sign in to the UZEM education portal.
You sign in to the education portal at portal.uzem.omu.edu.tr. Username: your student number without the leading “o”. Password: the first six digits of your national identity number plus the first three letters of your first name in capitals.
StudentI want to appeal an exam result. What should I do?
To have your result checked, fill in and submit the exam objection form at https://unikys.omu.edu.tr in full. Once you have sent it, your case will be reviewed.

If you send the course name and the question stem you believe is wrong as feedback, the course instructor will be informed.

You can reach your exam results at ubys.omu.edu.tr.
StudentI sat the exam but it was not recorded and my mark shows as 0.

StudentHow do I submit an excuse petition for an exam?
Send your excuse petition to the student affairs office of the faculty you are enrolled in. The form is under the forms section of unikys.omu.edu.tr.
StudentWhen will exam results be entered into the system?
Results are entered by the course instructors within the period stated in the academic calendar. Uploading them is not done by UZEM.
ApplicantI cannot find the master's registration dates. Where are they?
Applications and registration are taken by the Graduate School in two intakes, autumn and spring. The dates are published on the graduate school's own website.
StudentI cannot sign in to the common courses system (on-campus).
To sign in to the education portal you have to be a student on an on-campus programme served by the Ondokuz Mayıs University Distance Education Centre.
StudentI cannot sign in to the common courses examination system.
Student accounts on the examination system are opened during the examination week. You sign in at sinav.omu.edu.tr with your national identity number as the username.
StudentI cannot sign in to the occupational health training system I need for my placement.
The faculty deanship sends UZEM the list of students who must take the occupational health and safety training. Students whose names are on that list can sign in.
ApplicantHow do I apply for the pedagogical formation programme?
Applications are taken by the formation office of the Faculty of Education. Telephone: 0362 312 19 19, extensions 5509, 5313 and 5419.
StudentI cannot sign in to ubys.omu.edu.tr and it will not accept my details. What should I do?
Passwords for UBYS are reset at parola.omu.edu.tr. If you still cannot reach the account, contact the university's IT department.
StudentI am a student on a UZEM programme and need to sit a single-course exam. What do I do?
Single-course exams are not run by UZEM. Speak to the course instructor or to the student affairs office of the programme you are enrolled in.
StudentThe stream freezes during live lessons and there are sound and picture problems.
Send the course name, the week and any other detail through the feedback channel and it will be looked into.
StudentI cannot get into the Classroom system and my details give an error. What should I do?

StudentCan I freeze or cancel my registration if I need to?
All formal procedures are handled by the academic units. Speak to your own faculty and the procedure will follow from there.
