Guests from Uganda Visited Our Centre

William Edward Ssettuba and the Ugandan businessman David Lugya Sserunkuuma visited our centre.

William Edward Ssettuba, Head of the Careers Guidance Unit at Mengo SS High School, which was founded in 1895 and is the oldest school in Uganda, and the businessman David Lugya Sserunkuuma, who has helped organise OMU-YÖS in the Republic of Uganda, visited UZEM. Meeting the Centre Director, Dr Hasan Atsız, the guests said they had come to see OMU for themselves on the strength of what they had learnt at the OMU promotional activities held in Uganda in February.

During the visit they discussed the details and final planning for the OMU-YÖS to be held in Uganda (HA-DLS), the positive effects of the OMU-YÖS promotional activities we carried out in Uganda in February (DLS), future plans for increasing the impact of OMU-YÖS in Uganda (HA-DLS-WES), and African history and the Ugandan education system (HA-WES).

The guests, who toured the centre's studios and units, were pleased with their visit.
