"Is a Healthy Life Possible?" Conference Held

The "Is a Healthy Life Possible?" conference was held in the UZEM conference hall.

The Ondokuz Mayıs University Pharmacy and Health Academy Society organised a conference titled "Is a Healthy Life Possible?" in collaboration with the Ondokuz Mayıs University Distance Education Centre (UZEM). The event was held in the OMU Conference Hall with a large audience.

Prof. Fatih Gültekin, a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and Rector of Lokman Hekim University, took part in the conference as speaker. Gültekin gave a wide-ranging presentation on the scientific foundations of healthy living, individual awareness, changes in lifestyle and strategies for public health.

Participants had the chance to gain current, scientific knowledge about healthy living. Followed with interest by students and academics, the event was well received for its contribution to raising health literacy.
