Webinar Titled "Current Issues in Special Education"

Prof. Sezgin Vuran Was the Guest at OGEM's Third Webinar.

The third event in the webinar series titled "Current Issues in Special Education", held online by the Ondokuz Mayıs University Developmental Education Application and Research Centre (OGEM) with the support of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Distance Education Centre (UZEM) infrastructure, hosted Prof. Sezgin Vuran, one of the leading figures in the field of special education.

Drawing on her academic and professional experience, Prof. Vuran made wide-ranging assessments of special education policy, applied approaches and the current obstacles to inclusive education. The event also covered concrete proposals for the field and ways forward grounded in science. Participants had the chance to gain knowledge from many angles about developing inclusiveness in special education.

The webinar series run by OGEM continued to support current, high-quality and interdisciplinary knowledge production in the field of special education. The third event again drew keen interest from academic circles and from practitioners.
